(John Calvin & Thomas Hobbes, that is. Pretty cool, huh?)
Erykah Badu, Baduizm.
Her first album & durn good.
Today I said she's "soul-ish, jazz-ish, funk-ish," but that just begins to cover it. Her music truly is "Baduizm."
In other words, "hers."
I cannot recommend her music enough.
Also, I hear this is pretty cool:

ReplyDeleteMcBride- I understand that the breaking of the eggshells is a metaphor or whatever in Gulliver's Travels, but all if does is annoying the heck out of me. It just frustrates me how stupid the law is and then it makes me think about how stupid some of our laws are and I mean, I'm glad he's writing about this kind of stuff I just don't like reading it:[
